THIS IS LATE, SORRY MR. GENTILE! I hadn't even realized that I missed this, in all of the times we've been talking about late work.
First of all, before I go on topic, let me say that I hate when my roomate decides to randomly practice flute. She doesn't play flute. Why can't she practice when the rest of us AREN'T here? Why? I don't know, I think she intentionally wants to annoy me. There's less than two weeks left, though, so it isn't even worth my time. Just think of some cooling verses and try not to let it get under my skin. As it always does. But I've learned to just let things slide mroe in college. I really dislike all types of conflict.
Anyways, despite that, I'll try and write the blog. Chapter Seven is about Evaluationg Edcational Technology and Integration Strategies. As teachers, we will have to both find technology for our classes and evaluate how good it will be or how well it will work. Many districts and states have pre-approved lists of recommended or appropriate software. When searhcin gfor computers on Dell, you can choose the type of computer and, if for government use and teaching, you can choose the state and it sends you types of computers. There are many different ways to hear of good sources, though, like catalogs, peers, and of course, the internet. The book contains a sample rubric that can also be used to evaluate software. The chapter then continues to talk about evaluating Web sources, something I remember hearing about nonstop in high school. They were very against Wikipedia in school, which I never agreed with. All of the information I ever found was highly accurate, and it's cited at the bottom. There is also a rubric for evaluating Web Sources. Then the chapter is about integrating technology into the classroom, which is just about how well it's used in the classroom and the students using it. It also has different methods of integrating technology, based on resources, like the number of available computers in the classroom. The incredibly long chapter also has parts on lessons plans and ways to integrate technology in all of the different subjects of classes.
That's all about the chapter, really. I hadn't even realized I'd missed this post, which is frustrating because I've been trying to stay on top of everything for this class. Plus I'm just extra-frustsrated right now. And I don't even know if this class has a final. And there's just too much happening in the next two weeks. So frustrating. And worrisome. I'm always re-reading Matthew 6:25-34. I don't know if we're allowed to be religious on these blogs, but I am allowed to have my own personal opinions. And, in my opinion, this verse helps me through each day, about not worrying. Especially when it's getting closer to exams. Even though the verses focus mainly on food and clothes, I think they can apply to all worrying.
